1) Superstitious ritual
I Love Naples has created bracelets and necklaces with the traditional gesture of the horns as superstition against bad luck. A typical symbol of Neapolitan culture.
2) San Gennaro
Naples is rich in symbols representing faith, including the cult of San Gennaro and his miracles, always rooted in Neapolitan culture.
Read this article to discover the history of San Gennaro.

3) Mermaid
The legend of the mermaid tells of three sisters: Leucosia, Partenope, and Ligea.
The three mermaids, Partenope, Ligea, and Leucosia, are defeated in song by Orpheus and in despair throw themselves into the sea, where they are transformed into rocks.
Their death is attributed to the insensitivity of Ulysses to the spell of their song.
Their bodies are carried by the sea: Ligea ends up in Terina, Leucosia in Posidonia, and Partenope at the mouth of the Sebeto river, where the Cumaeans would later found Neapolis.
