BYSIMON has been close to the association since 2019 "Solidarity Brigade", born from a group of friends with a passion for cooking and volunteering

The Social Brigade came to light in May 2019 as a voluntary organization dedicated exclusively to non-profit activities with solidarity and social utility purposes.
Specifically, the main activity carried out is to serve hot meals in the public dormitory "La Palma" in the Sanità district, in Naples. The first two Fridays of each month, and on the fifth Friday of the months that contain it, the volunteers of the Solidarity Brigade take care of the purchase of foodstuffs, their preparation in the dormitory and the cleaning of the premises used. On average, about 80 meals are prepared for each service. In addition to food services, the Brigade has carried out important initiatives, always at the aforementioned dormitory such as the purchase of equipment and dishes (from the fryer, to recyclable plastic plates and glasses) as well as clothing (with the purchase of 500 underwear items).
